{"reader_html":"<h1 class=\"chapter-heading\">Job<span class=\"chapter-label\">Chapter 28<\/span><\/h1>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"1\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,1,&quot;Job&quot;)\">1<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Silver has its fissures where it is first found, and gold has a place where it is melted.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"2\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,2,&quot;Job&quot;)\">2<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Iron is taken from the earth, and ore, unbound by heat, is turned into brass.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"3\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,3,&quot;Job&quot;)\">3<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">He has established a time for darkness, and he has settled on an end for all things, as well as for the stone that is in the gloom and shadow of death.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"4\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,4,&quot;Job&quot;)\">4<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The burning separates a pilgrim people from those who have been forgotten by the feet of the destitute man and from the unapproachable.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,5,&quot;Job&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The land, where bread appeared in its place, has been destroyed by fire.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,6,&quot;Job&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Its stones are embedded with sapphires, and its soil, with gold.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,7,&quot;Job&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The bird does not know its path, nor has the eye of the vulture beheld it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,8,&quot;Job&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The sons of merchants have not walked there, nor has the lioness traveled through it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,9,&quot;Job&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">He has stretched out his hand to the rocks; he has overturned the foundations of the mountains.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,10,&quot;Job&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">He has cut rivers through the rocks, and his eye has seen all precious things.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,11,&quot;Job&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The depths of rivers he has also examined, and he has brought hidden things into the light.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"12\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,12,&quot;Job&quot;)\">12<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">But, in truth, where is wisdom to be found, and where is the place of understanding?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"13\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,13,&quot;Job&quot;)\">13<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Man does not know its price, nor is it found in the land of those who live in sweetness.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"14\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,14,&quot;Job&quot;)\">14<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The abyss declares, “It is not in me.” And the sea says, “It is not with me.”<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"15\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,15,&quot;Job&quot;)\">15<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The finest gold will not be paid for it, nor will silver be weighed in exchange for it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"16\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,16,&quot;Job&quot;)\">16<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">It will not be compared with the dyed colors of India, nor with the very costly stone sardonyx, nor with the sapphire.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"17\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,17,&quot;Job&quot;)\">17<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Neither gold nor crystal will be its equal; neither will vessels of gold be fitted for it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"18\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,18,&quot;Job&quot;)\">18<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The exalted and the eminent will not be remembered in comparison with it. Yet wisdom is drawn out of concealment.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"19\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,19,&quot;Job&quot;)\">19<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The topaz of Ethiopia will not be equal to it, nor will it be compared to the purest dyes.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"20\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,20,&quot;Job&quot;)\">20<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">So then, where does wisdom begin, and where is the place of understanding?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"21\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,21,&quot;Job&quot;)\">21<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">It has been hidden from the eyes of all living things, just as the birds of the heavens escape notice.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"22\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,22,&quot;Job&quot;)\">22<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Perdition and death have said, “With our ears, we have heard its fame.”<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"23\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,23,&quot;Job&quot;)\">23<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">God understands its way, and he knows its location.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"24\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,24,&quot;Job&quot;)\">24<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">For he beholds the limits of the world, and he looks upon all things that are under heaven.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"25\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,25,&quot;Job&quot;)\">25<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">He created a counterweight for the winds, and he suspended the waters to measure them.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"26\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,26,&quot;Job&quot;)\">26<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">At that time, he gave a law to the rain and a path to the resounding storms.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"27\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,27,&quot;Job&quot;)\">27<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Then he saw and explained it, and he made ready and examined it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"28\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,28,&quot;Job&quot;)\">28<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And he said to man, “Behold the fear of the Lord. Such is wisdom.
