1<\/sup>A Canticle in steps. From the depths, I have cried out to you, O Lord.<\/span> <\/p>\n 2<\/sup>O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.<\/span> <\/p>\n 3<\/sup>If you, O Lord, were to heed iniquities, who, O Lord, could persevere?<\/span> <\/p>\n 4<\/sup>For with you, there is forgiveness, and because of your law, I persevered with you, Lord. My soul has persevered in his word.<\/span> <\/p>\n 5<\/sup>My soul has hoped in the Lord.<\/span> <\/p>\n 6<\/sup>From the morning watch, even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.<\/span> <\/p>\n 7<\/sup>For with the Lord there is mercy, and with him there is bountiful redemption.<\/span> <\/p>\n 8<\/sup>And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.<\/span> <\/p>\n
