{"reader_html":"<h1 class=\"chapter-heading\">Ezekiel<span class=\"chapter-label\">Chapter 15<\/span><\/h1>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"1\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,1,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">1<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"2\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,2,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">2<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">“Son of man, what can be made from the stalk of a vine, compared to all the plants of the woods that are among the trees of the forests?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"3\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,3,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">3<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Can any wood be taken from it, so that it may be made into a work, or formed into a peg so as to hang some kind of vessel upon it?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"4\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,4,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">4<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Behold, it is used in the fire as fuel. The fire consumes both its ends; and its middle is reduced to ashes. So how can it be useful for any work?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,5,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Even when it was whole, it was unsuitable for a work. How much more so, when fire has devoured it and burned it up, will nothing of it be useful?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,6,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Therefore, thus says the Lord God: Like the stalk of the vine among the trees of the forests, which I have given to be devoured by fire, so will I deliver the inhabitants of Jerusalem.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,7,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And I will set my face against them. They will go away from fire, and yet fire will consume them. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have set my face against them,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,26,15,8,&quot;Ezekiel&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">and when I will have made their land impassable and desolate.
