onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,1,&quot;Job&quot;)\">1<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Silver hath beginnings of its veins, and gold hath a place wherein it is melted.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"2\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,2,&quot;Job&quot;)\">2<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Iron is taken out of the earth, and stone melted with heat is turned into brass.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"3\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,3,&quot;Job&quot;)\">3<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">He hath set a time for darkness, and the end of all things he considereth, the stone also that is in the dark and the shadow of death.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"4\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,4,&quot;Job&quot;)\">4<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The flood divideth from the people that are on their journey, those whom the food of the needy man hath forgotten, and who cannot be come at.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,5,&quot;Job&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The land, out of which bread grew in its place, hath been overturned with fire.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,6,&quot;Job&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The stones of it are the place of sapphires, and the clods of it are gold.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,7,&quot;Job&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The bird hath not known the path, neither hath the eye of the vulture beheld it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,8,&quot;Job&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The children of the merchants have not trodden it, neither hath the lioness passed by it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,9,&quot;Job&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">He hath stretched forth his hand to the flint, he hath overturned mountains from the roots.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,10,&quot;Job&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">In the rocks he hath cut out rivers, and his eye hath seen every precious thing.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,11,&quot;Job&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The depths also of rivers he hath searched, and hidden things he hath brought forth to light.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"12\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,12,&quot;Job&quot;)\">12<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">But where is wisdom to be found, and where is the place of understanding?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"13\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,13,&quot;Job&quot;)\">13<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Man knoweth not the price thereof, neither is it found in the land of them that live in delights.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"14\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,14,&quot;Job&quot;)\">14<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The depth saith: It is not in me: and the sea saith: It is not with me.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"15\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,15,&quot;Job&quot;)\">15<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The finest gold shall not purchase it, neither shall silver be weighed in exchange for it<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"16\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,16,&quot;Job&quot;)\">16<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">It shall not be compared with the dyed colours of India, or with the most precious stone sardonyx, or the sapphire.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"17\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,17,&quot;Job&quot;)\">17<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Gold or crystal cannot equal it, neither shall any vessels of gold be changed for it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"18\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,18,&quot;Job&quot;)\">18<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">High and eminent things shall not be mentioned in comparison of it: but wisdom is drawn out of secret places.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"19\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,19,&quot;Job&quot;)\">19<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The topaz of Ethiopia shall not be equal to it, neither shall it be compared to the cleanest dyeing.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"20\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,20,&quot;Job&quot;)\">20<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"21\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,21,&quot;Job&quot;)\">21<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">It is hid from the eyes of all living. and the fowls of the air know it not.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"22\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,22,&quot;Job&quot;)\">22<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Destruction and death have said: With our ears we have heard the fame thereof.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"23\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,23,&quot;Job&quot;)\">23<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">God understandeth the way of it, and he knoweth the place thereof.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"24\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,28,24,&quot;Job&quot;)\">24<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">For he beholdeth the ends of the world: and looketh on all things that are under
