tell me if thou hast understanding.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,5,&quot;Job&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,6,&quot;Job&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Upon what are its bases grounded? or who laid the corner stone thereof,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,7,&quot;Job&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">When the morning stars praised me together, and all the sons of God made a joyful melody?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,8,&quot;Job&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Who shut up the sea with doors, when it broke forth as issuing out of the womb :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,9,&quot;Job&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">when I made a cloud the garment thereof, and wrapped it in a mist as in swaddling bands?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,10,&quot;Job&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">I set my bounds around it, and made it bars and doors :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,11,&quot;Job&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And I said : Hitherto thou shalt come, and shalt go no further, and here thou shalt break thy swelling waves.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"12\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,12,&quot;Job&quot;)\">12<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Didst thou since thy birth command the morning, and shew the dawning of the day its place?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"13\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,13,&quot;Job&quot;)\">13<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And didst thou hold the extremities of the earth shaking them, and hast thou shaken the ungodly out of it?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"14\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,14,&quot;Job&quot;)\">14<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The seal shall be restored as clay, and shall stand as a garment :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"15\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,15,&quot;Job&quot;)\">15<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">From the wicked their light shall be taken away, and the high arm shall be broken.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"16\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,16,&quot;Job&quot;)\">16<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Hast thou entered into the depths of the sea, and walked in the lowest parts of the deep?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"17\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,17,&quot;Job&quot;)\">17<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Have the gates of death been opened to thee, and hast thou seen the darksome doors?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"18\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,18,&quot;Job&quot;)\">18<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Hast thou considered the breadth of the earth? tell me, if thou knowest all things?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"19\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,19,&quot;Job&quot;)\">19<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Where is the way where light dwelleth, and where is the place of darkness :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"20\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,20,&quot;Job&quot;)\">20<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">That thou mayst bring every thing to its own bounds, and understand the paths of the house thereof.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"21\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,21,&quot;Job&quot;)\">21<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Didst thou know then that thou shouldst be born ? and didst thou know the number of thy days?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"22\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,22,&quot;Job&quot;)\">22<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Hast thou entered into the storehouses of the snow, or has thou beheld the treasures of the hail :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"23\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,23,&quot;Job&quot;)\">23<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Which I have prepared for the time of the enemy, against the day of battle and war?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"24\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,24,&quot;Job&quot;)\">24<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">By what way is the light spread, and heat divided upon the earth?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"25\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,25,&quot;Job&quot;)\">25<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Who gave a course to violent showers, or a way for noisy thunder :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"26\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,26,&quot;Job&quot;)\">26<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">That it should rain on the earth without man in the wilderness, where no mortal dwelleth :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"27\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,27,&quot;Job&quot;)\">27<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">That it should fill the desert and desolate land, and should bring forth green grass?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"28\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,28,&quot;Job&quot;)\">28<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Who is the father of rain ? or who begot the drops of dew?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"29\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,29,&quot;Job&quot;)\">29<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Out of whose womb came the ice; and the frost from heaven who hath gendered it?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"30\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,30,&quot;Job&quot;)\">30<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The waters are hardened like a stone, and the surface of the deep is congealed.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"31\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,31,&quot;Job&quot;)\">31<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Shalt thou be able to join together the shining stars the Pleiades, or canst thou stop the turning about of Arcturus?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"32\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,32,&quot;Job&quot;)\">32<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Canst thou bring forth the day star in its time, and make the evening star to rise upon the children of the earth?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"33\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,33,&quot;Job&quot;)\">33<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Dost thou know the order of heaven, and canst thou set down the reason thereof on the earth?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"34\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,34,&quot;Job&quot;)\">34<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that an abundance of waters may cover thee?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"35\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,35,&quot;Job&quot;)\">35<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Canst thou send lightnings, and will they go, and will they return and say to thee : Here we are?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"36\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,38,36,&quot;Job&quot;)\">36<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Who hath put wisdom in the heart of man?
