{"reader_html":"<h1 class=\"chapter-heading\">Job<span class=\"chapter-label\">Chapter 42<\/span><\/h1>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"1\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,1,&quot;Job&quot;)\">1<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Then Job answered the Lord, and said :<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"2\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,2,&quot;Job&quot;)\">2<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">I know that thou canst do all things, and no thought is hid from thee.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"3\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,3,&quot;Job&quot;)\">3<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Who is this that hideth counsel without knowledge? Therefore I have spoken unwisely, and things that above measure exceeded my knowledge.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"4\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,4,&quot;Job&quot;)\">4<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Hear, and I will speak : I will ask thee, and do thou tell me.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,5,&quot;Job&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">With the hearing of the ear, I have heard thee, but now my eye seeth thee.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,6,&quot;Job&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Therefore I reprehend myself, and do penance in dust and ashes.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,7,&quot;Job&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Themanite : My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends, because you have not spoken the thing that is right before my, as my servant Job hath.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,8,&quot;Job&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Take unto you therefore seven oxen, and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer for yourselves a holocaust : and my servant Job shall pray for you : his face I will accept, that folly be not imputed to you : for you have not spoken right things before me, as my servant Job hath.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,9,&quot;Job&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">So Eliphaz the Themanite, and Baldad the Suhite, and Sophar the Naamathite went, and did as the Lord had spoken to them, and the Lord accepted the face of Job.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,10,&quot;Job&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The Lord also was turned at the penance of Job, when he prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,11,&quot;Job&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And all his brethren came to him, and all his sisters, and all that knew him before, and they ate bread with him in his house : and bemoaned him, and comforted him upon all the evil that God had brought upon him. And every man gave him one ewe, and one earring of fold.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"12\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,42,12,&quot;Job&quot;)\">12<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning.
