{"reader_html":"<h1 class=\"chapter-heading\">Amos<span class=\"chapter-label\">Chapter 3<\/span><\/h1>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"1\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,1,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">1<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Hear the word that the Lord hath spoken concerning you, O ye children of Israel: concerning the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying:<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"2\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,2,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">2<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore will I visit upon you all your iniquities.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"3\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,3,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">3<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Shall two walk together except they be agreed?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"4\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,4,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">4<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Will a lion roar in the forest, if he have no prey? will the lion&#039;s whelp cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing ?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,5,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Will the bird fall into the snare upon the earth, if there be no fowler? Shall the snare be taken up from the earth, before it hath taken somewhat ?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,6,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Shall the trumpet sound in a city, and the people not be afraid? Shall there be evil in a city, which the Lord hath not done?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,7,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">For the Lord God doth nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,30,3,8,&quot;Amos&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The lion shall roar, who will not fear?
