{"reader_html":"<h1 class=\"chapter-heading\">James<span class=\"chapter-label\">Chapter 5<\/span><\/h1>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"1\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,1,&quot;James&quot;)\">1<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl in your miseries, which shall come upon you.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"2\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,2,&quot;James&quot;)\">2<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Your riches are corrupted: and your garments are motheaten.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"3\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,3,&quot;James&quot;)\">3<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Your gold and silver is cankered: and the rust of them shall be for a testimony against you, and shall eat your flesh like fire. You have stored up to yourselves wrath against the last days.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"4\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,4,&quot;James&quot;)\">4<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Behold the hire of the labourers, who have reaped down your fields, which by fraud has been kept back by you, crieth: and the cry of them hath entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,5,&quot;James&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">You have feasted upon earth: and in riotousness you have nourished your hearts, in the day of slaughter.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,6,&quot;James&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">You have condemned and put to death the Just One, and he resisted you not.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,7,&quot;James&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth: patiently bearing till he receive the early and latter rain.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,8,&quot;James&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Be you therefore also patient, and strengthen your hearts: for the coming of the Lord is at hand.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,9,&quot;James&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Grudge not, brethren, one against another, that you may not be judged. Behold the judge standeth before the door.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,10,&quot;James&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Take, my brethren, for an example of suffering evil, of labour and patience, the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,11,&quot;James&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Behold, we account them blessed who have endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is merciful and compassionate.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"12\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,12,&quot;James&quot;)\">12<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath. But let your speech be, yea, yea: no, no: that you fall not under judgment.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"13\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,13,&quot;James&quot;)\">13<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he cheerful in mind? Let him sing.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"14\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,14,&quot;James&quot;)\">14<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priests of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"15\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,15,&quot;James&quot;)\">15<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man: and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"16\" onclick=\"loadParallel(2,20,5,16,&quot;James&quot;)\">16<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that you may be saved.
