onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,7,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Look not round about thee in the of the city, nor wander up and down in the streets thereof.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,8,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Turn away thy face from a woman dressed up, and gaze not about upon another&#039;s beauty.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,9,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">For many have perished by the beauty of a woman, and hereby lust is enkindled as a fire.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,10,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Every woman that is a harlot, shall be trodden upon as dung in the way.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,11,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Many by admiring the beauty of another man&#039;s wife, have become reprobate, for her conversation burneth as fire.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"12\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,12,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">12<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Sit not at all with another man&#039;s wife, nor repose upon the bed with her:<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"13\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,13,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">13<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And strive not with her over wine, lest thy heart decline towards her, and by thy blood thou fall into destruction.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"14\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,14,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">14<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Forsake not an old friend, for the new will not be like to him.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"15\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,15,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">15<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">A new friend is as new wine: it shall grow old, and thou shalt drink it with pleasure.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"16\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,16,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">16<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Envy not the glory and riches of a sinner: for thou knowest not what his ruin shall be.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"17\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,17,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">17<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Be not pleased with the wrong done by the unjust, knowing that even to hell the wicked shall not please.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"18\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,18,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">18<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Keep thee far from the man that hath power to kill, so thou shalt not suspect the fear of death.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"19\" onclick=\"loadParallel(3,5,9,19,&quot;Sirach&quot;)\">19<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And if thou come to him, commit no fault, lest he take away thy life.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup
