and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"3\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,3,&quot;Job&quot;)\">3<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"4\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,4,&quot;Job&quot;)\">4<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"5\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,5,&quot;Job&quot;)\">5<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"6\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,6,&quot;Job&quot;)\">6<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"7\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,7,&quot;Job&quot;)\">7<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,8,&quot;Job&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,9,&quot;Job&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,10,&quot;Job&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,18,8,11,&quot;Job&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Can the rush grow up without mire?
