as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"8\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,8,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">8<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"9\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,9,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">9<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"10\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,10,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">10<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"11\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,11,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">11<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Of all clean birds ye shall eat.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"12\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,12,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">12<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"13\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,13,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">13<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"14\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,14,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">14<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And every raven after his kind,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"15\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,15,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">15<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"16\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,16,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">16<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"17\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,17,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">17<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant,<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"18\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,18,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">18<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"19\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,19,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">19<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"20\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,20,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">20<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">But of all clean fowls ye may eat.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"verse-para\"><sup class=\"vnum\" data-v=\"21\" onclick=\"loadParallel(1,5,14,21,&quot;Deuteronomy&quot;)\">21<\/sup><span class=\"vtext\">Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God.
